The 240-hour clock hour Commercial Vehicle Operator (CVO) Program gives students the necessary skills to begin driving a truck professionally. The program includes hands-on training and the CVO knowledge needed to properly and safely operate a truck.
The CVO course provides students with training to inspect and operate tractor-trailers and assume driving responsibilities on the road. Emphasis is placed on vehicle inspections, defensive driving, range maneuvers and motor carrier safety regulations and certification. Graduates of this program can test for a Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License.
